Optimize Your Website
Improve your website so it’s one that both search engines and people love. Attract your target audience and be sure they find what they’re looking for intuitively and quickly. Measure the success of your online campaigns and maximize your time and ROI. Keyword research & analysis, competitive research, killer content, proven SEO and intelligent analytics will get you there.
Words for Web
The content on your website is ridiculously important for an effective web presence. Find your voice, speak with purpose and reach your market. Are you effectively communicating? Are you providing value? Are you adequately responding to needs? Are you missing opportunities? Are search engines listening? There is more to writing for the Web than bold text and cool buttons.
Community Continuity
Want to build trust in your brand? Social Media outlets such as Blogs, Facebook and Twitter can help you shape a community around your product, service or website, but beware of biting off more than you can chew. Do you know how, when and where to start? Are you hurting your image with rookie mistakes? Your audience has never been harder to please but they’ll be twice as ready to engage if you approach Social Media the right way.
I’ve been in a love affair with Internet Marketing for over a decade and though it may seem arduous to some, what keeps me at it is simple—the web is changing the world, and it keeps my work very exciting.
One of my favorite challenges was pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Communications at Concordia University, for the first time in my life I was challenged and inspired by the people around me every single day. During my specialization in Digital Media I knew I’d found my place, with the believers in how massively the Internet was changing everything.
I brought my family business from a brick and mortar in the suburbs to one of largest and most recognizable local retail florists, #1 in Google and the first to adopt Social Media in the city. It’s been a pretty satisfying way to contribute to a business that kept a roof over my head as a kid. It wasn’t long before others in the industry began to notice. I now write a column for an industry magazine, and continue to help florists grow. I will always have a soft spot for local businesses.
I’ve now worked with advertising, internet strategy and design agencies as part of their team and by sub-contract. I also enjoy great relationships with small and medium sized businesses from many areas and industries. Working in-house or remotely I offer all the services the agencies do, but working freelance keeps my overhead low, which allows me to pass that on to you.
An amateur scenester, I am the organizer of the Montreal Girl Geeks and do Social Media Marketing for CupcakeCamp and Twestival Montreal. I attend Wordcamp, PodCamp, Webcom/Webcamp, 3e Mardis, Startup Drinks, 140 Conference and The Art of Marketing and almost any local event I can get my mitts on, even if that means starting a foodie tweetup in the interim.
Though I may be a workaholic I am no army, so I don’t take on more than I can handle, your goals are important and I am always realistic. I am truly passionate about what I do, and I adore the details when sinking my teeth into a project, business or website I know I can improve for you.
